@BonifaceOption Nice piece. Well argued. The most stunning thing you noted is how the fiction of Shepherd's death came to overshadow its truth, enabling even high officials to surf that lie indefinitely and without shame. Part of how Christians have lost is by giving up on aspiring (and training hard) to tell gripping, high-quality stories, especially fictional ones. In the years I have left, I aim to change that.
