One thing I've noticed over the past two weeks is that one side can entirely justify their position of support, while the other cannot. Ironically, it's the ultra-left-wing progressive rank-and-file who justify coherently and succinctly their position for supporting Palestine. Now, of course, you might think they're wrong in many areas, and they may be exaggerating and playing victim, but my point is that they're willing to justify it, which is a first for them. Israel supporters, however, cannot--or will not--justify their support for Israel/jews beyond the simple "Our greatest ally" platitude. And they smear you as an antisemite should you ask them to explain. I personally find it odd how reversible the sociopolitical tide is during these situations.
