Just a random rant because holy shit......For starters, totally sick of seeing idiots wearing masks in public. IT'S OCTOBER 2022. ENOUGH. There's been an increase in mask wearers wherever I go, and I can't quite figure out why, since there are no mandates here in Florida. So these idiots are doing it voluntarily. They're STILL buying into the idiocy. (Drinking game - every time I say idiot, idiocy or some variation....take a swig.....) But it gets better. I am STILL seeing idiots wearing masks while driving alone in cars with their windows rolled up!! Wearing masks outdoors!! While walking by themselves in the wide open!!!!!! Are all these people afraid of catching Monkeypox??? Do they not realize that's a gay man STD??? I don't know. So if you're some middle aged woman terrified of breathing in Monkeypox......it ain't gonna happen. Holy shit. Like I said....just ranting. But there's another layer to this. I've also seen an increase in idiotic drivers, including those with masks driving alone in their cars/trucks. They're probably quadruple poison jabbed as well, on top of the long term oxygen deprivation/carbon dioxide poisoning they've been subjecting themselves to for 2 1/2 years straight. One of the giveaways of "MASKED IDIOT DRIVER ALERT" is that they're creeping down a busy main street like Glades Road, or Federal Highway, etc., at ~25 miles per hour. These are all INSANELY busy roads, three lanes on each side, and where the speed limit is 45, but where most people go 50-60. But there they are, creeping around turns at 5 mph, then slloooooooowwwwwwwlllllly "accelerating" to their max whopping speed of 25-28. Fly around them to get past this nonsense and look over and sure enough.......it's some ~40-ish dude with a mask on, alone, white knuckling his f'ing steering wheel while leaning forward, looking like he can't handle life in general. (happened a few days ago.) Or like what just happened this afternoon - some young college-ish looking 20-something female with a mask on, alone, and creeping at about 20 on Glades Road of all roads......not seeming to be aware that she's operating through life in a dazed, slo mo. Maybe if they took their freaking masks off and breathed oxygen for once, I don't know. Just a thought. Saw another pickup truck taking a turn at like 5 mph, then creeping along in front of me at about 15, in a 30 or 35 zone. I passed him, pissed off, then looked in my rearview to see him slooowwwllly "pull over" to his left.....into the middle area of the road that wasn't even a designated lane. It was striped lines forming a long triangle that eventually ends. He let the next car pass by around him to the right.......then drifted back into the lane again. But meanwhile there were still at least another 4 cars behind him. ?!?!?! Either let everybody pass, or just hit the freaking gas pedal and GO already. There was no logic at all to whatever he was doing. I mean, I got stories. I could go on all day. But the things I keep seeing...... 😡 In another instance yesterday it was a young female pedestrian in a plaza walking on a sidewalk to my right, seeming to be with three other younger people her age who were around her. She had this blank, empty, stony face. Then suddenly she just veered out to the left in front of my car (obviously not part of the rest of the group she was walking alongside for some reason) but without ever looking once, and zero warning. Never glanced behind her, or to the side, to indicate she was looking to cross. Luckily I was going slow since it was a plaza, but still, I had to jam my brakes down to not hit her. Then she had the nerve to give me a stony glare like I had done something wrong here. I glared right back. It was hard to not get out of my car and start screaming at this chick to find out WTF that was all about. Who does that??? Death wish zombies. Or just Matrix drone NPC characters, like a video game. I'll leave off with something even more random to try to bring this back to something fun. A clip from 1986's "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." Speaking of cars that like to go fast. ;) The pivotal scene, when all the arrangements are in place and Ferris, Sloane and Cameron finally take off for downtown Chicago in the classic Ferrari after ditching school. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsdmOeA46LQ
