Hey Gab Fam, it's been very rough ever since my dad suddenly passed away in November. We spent everything we had, and in January were late in our rent, but luckily sold enough of our things including the car to stop the eviction. We submitted an over a month ago an application for government help, of course nothing has happened. I've also been job hunting including fast food, and apparently I'm too old. I'm starting a new print zine, but it's still in the early stages. We put a little towards Feb rent, and March is almost here. The property manager is getting very inpatient, and we don't want to loose the house and end up on the streets. With two teens, cats and my 81 year old mom who's going blind, that's not an option. Everyday we pray to God. I can't use GoFundme etc to raise emergency funds since they take a percentage , and it'll take too long for payouts. So I've been using CashApp. I'm setting my goal to 5k, that should cover everything, including rent and much need food for us and our cats.
