Hospital Stay Day 4. Physically, I still feel terrible, but after some nice visits yesterday and the encouragement I'm getting on social media,, my head is now in a better space than it has been these past few days. Since it will take longer than anticipated for me to get a more definitive diagnosis. I will tell you the whole story as best I know it. These past few months, I had been feeling symptoms in my digestive system. At first I thought it was just heartburn and then I thought it was acid reflux or GERDl. I also started noticing a very rapid weight loss without having to work at it. I liked this at first until I realized that in addition to the fat that I was also losing muscle mass and body strength. On October 31st,,, I was unable to get my feet under me. Whenever I would attempt to stand, my knees would and I would fail. I had to crawl out of my house. My neighbor saw my distress and dialed 911. After 7 hours of testing and scanning at the hospital,, I was told that a mass had been discovered on my pancreas. The following morning,, I was then told that I also had growths on my liver.. Cancer is not official diagnosis yet, but that is what they're getting at. They have yet type and stage it and this process takes, sometimes weeks. Whatever is coming my way,, I feel motivated to fight this thing and beat it. I will win this battle.
