I've been experimenting with chat GPT to see if I can use it to create characters.. instead of me putting on costumes and having to act out all of the sequences and then do further editing, it would make a lot more sense and a better output if whole new characters could be generated but the first hurdle is consistency. AI is very inconsistent. But with GPT we were able to create a character model and it has remained consistent almost every time. About every 3rd or 4th generation it will change something and I supply the original character sheet to put it back on track. This is great for single or two frame sequences but something like an eight frame walking sequence it poses a major problem. For starters it appears chat GPT cannot generate a character walking mid stride. It's always them just taking a step and almost always with the left foot leading and the right foot back. It took 20 generations to get it to generate an image leading with the right foot.
