We are energy independent, but our fuel prices are increasing due to a foreign strait being closed. We’ve defeated Iran, but we are negotiating terms for reopening the strait. We have a cease-fire but Israel can still bomb indiscriminately. We have identified billions if not trillions in fraud, yet can’t hold anyone accountable and don’t get our money back. Our government is capable of identifying citizens for mandatory draft enrollment, but not for voter eligibility. We have a “representative republic” but nobody represents us.
