Why can't you go from: A: to B:  ? Answer: If you want to go from point A to point B ? You first have to cover half the distance. Once you've reached that point ? That's point A again. Going from there to point B means you have to cover half the remaining distance again. And once that's done ? That's point A again. In other words: you'll never reach point B because you'll keep trying to cover halves.
