I suppose my garden reflects my personality. Organized structure is essential, permission to wander is necessary. It's amazing to me how each garden becomes an expression of who we are if you will only allow it to. I believe a personalized style of gardening will give you a sense of peace that reflects who God made you to be. I learned this after letting my garden have Sabbath rest. That year, volunteer plants had lots of food "for free". It taught me to accept what God blesses me with. A Sabbath year rest from gardening also gave me a deeper sense of gratitude. I have to double-check but I think the next Sabbath year according to the Jewish calendar starts this September. That means no planted Fall garden and no Spring garden next year. I talk a lot about these things and whatever is current in the newsletters I write for my blog/website. If you are interested, I have a newsletter going out tomorrow morning. It has a free offer and a coupon offer for a unit study printable book I wrote for homeschoolers called, "The Secret Inside Seeds".
