I suppose my garden reflects my personality. Organized structure is essential, permission to wander is necessary.  Here are a few photos of my garden now as harvest is beginning. I interplanted blackeye peas in the outer rows of corn (for enough sunlight for the peas). They love each other:) A volunteer tomato plant was left in the mix (look closely to see the tomato branch above the pea bushes and between the corn stalks. I keep squash plants covered and hand-pollinate. The last photo shows how I let a pumpkin vine wander down the pathways. The butterbeans are staked and staked cucumbers are next to the butterbeans on the left side. I left some cukes to wander on the ground level so I can note which seems to do better, staked or not.
