The claim of a systematic German program to exterminate six million Jews in purpose-built gas chambers is contradicted by the physical, technical, and documentary evidence examined in detailed forensic studies of the camps. At Auschwitz the cremation furnaces and morgue facilities lacked both the capacity and the design features required for the alleged volume of gassings and body disposal. Engineering analysis shows the claimed daily throughput was physically impossible under the actual equipment and wartime fuel constraints. The Aktion Reinhardt camps of Treblinka, Sobibór, and Belzec show no archaeological remains consistent with mass gassing installations or the expected volume of human ash and bone. Excavations and wartime records instead support their function as transit and labor camps with high but non-genocidal mortality from disease and overcrowding. Demographic data and contemporary documents fail to confirm the six-million figure when wartime losses, emigration, and Soviet-era population transfers are properly accounted for. Standard works such as Hilberg’s rely heavily on postwar testimony that collapses under cross-examination against material evidence. The persistence of the official narrative therefore rests on legal and cultural enforcement rather than on the strength of the primary physical record. This is revisionism.
