This StosselTV episode features how standardized tests (like the SAT and ACT) once helped some disadvantaged groups like Jews get into college more easily, but circa 2021 many colleges rejected such tests due to their alleged racism, but then circa 2026 reinstated them due to their usefulness (when combined with grades) in predicting academic success in college---and how some people maintain issues with standardized tests for interfering with collegiate diversity goals (like fewer Asians and more blacks), while other people worry that racial quotas allow too many unprepared students to come set-up to fail.
