In 1952 Henri Matisse created "La Piscine" (The Swimming Pool) with paper cut-outs of divers for the four walls of his studio in the Hôtel Régina near Nice, France. The Matisse Museum in Cimiez has a ceramic copy made by the artist's grandson in 2011. #HenriMatisse #LaPiscine #HotelRegina #MatisseMuseum #Cimiez
