Violet-green Swallow at Pinnacles National Park, CA, 6/23/26. I was hiking up a steep trail and came around a switchback where tall bushes blocked my view. When I got to a break in the vegetation there he was, perched at eye level in a digger pine. Managed to get one photo before he noticed me and flew away. #myphoto #birds
