I am dying. I was air-flighted out of my little town to Las Vegas, NV after the emergency room here did an MRI on my skull and found a tumor the size of a ping pong ball, (I named him “Bob”). I have terminal cancer and am expected to pass away soon. I’ll be home with my Lord & Savior, and I can’t wait to see Him. I am 4 months away from qualifying for Medicare Insurance because I don’t turn 65 until December. With that being said, I have absolutely NO insurance whatsoever and I want you to know how an American citizen that has worked in this country for over 50 years is treated. I started working when I was 9 by cutting grass, babysitting, etc., and then at 16 I got a “real” job where I paid taxes, Social Security and Medicare. So, what is it like for an American to go to the hospital for a real emergency? As they wheeled me through Sunrise Hospital to check me in & bring me to a room, I truly felt like I was in an alien welcome center. The doctors, nurses & other medical staff were not Americans and shouted out to each other in another language, (Indian), obviously H1B workers brought here because there are no decent Americans to do those jobs. Every doctor was Indian and had a heavy accent. There were people on stretchers lining the walls of the hospital and it looked like a horror movie. They performed major surgery on me by cracking open my skull like a walnut and removing the tumor. After my surgery, I was sent to ICU, which was a great place where all of the nurses spoke English and treated me with respect. After that I was sent to a room about the size of a closet, that was meant for only one person, where they shoved me in the corner. The nurses & staff at that level were horrendous. None of them spoke English. None of them knew what they were doing, and none of them cared at all. Sunrise was going to send me home (2 hours away) in an Uber!! So far my bill for flight for life is $99,000 and for Sunrise it is about 1 million dollars. I have been refused treatment in my town because I have no insurance and even Hospice won’t help me (although my daughter found one that will help me pro-bono)!! If I want scans, chemo or radiation, I have to pay for it out of my own pocket! I was on chemo for years when my Lupus was active and I will NEVER do that again. Being a native born American is nothing in this country! As a matter of fact, being a native born American in America gets you treated worse than the serial killers entering our borders illegally! Soon I will be in heaven with my Lord & Savior. I am so excited! I can’t wait to see Him! I can’t wait to sing His praises with all of the angels & heavenly hosts! I can’t wait to speak with him. I am at peace with my decision and am now getting my house in order. Live your life FOR GOD, not for yourself. Love others, do good and keep fighting the good fight. God bless all of you! 🙏
