The man who punched a woman, leaving her with facial fractures, a subdural hematoma, a brain hemorrhage, and multiple small brain bleeds. has been arrested #montana Dwight Robert Murdough is a repeat offender who was already facing felony drug and weapons charges from an April traffic stop. Police say they searched his vehicle after a k-9 alert and is facing: 🟧Two counts of intent to distribute cocaine and psilocybin mushrooms, 🟧One count of possession of morphine, and 🟧One count of possessing a stolen firearm. Officers later searched his home and found 🟧A half pound of cocaine, 🟧A pound of mushrooms, 🟧Morphine pills, 🟧An AK-47, 🟧Multiple additional firearms (one reported stolen from Lewis and Clark County), and 🟧2,500 rounds of ammunition. Court records show Murdough had an active restraining order protecting the same woman and had previously (July) been charged with: 🔸️Assault causing bodily injury and 🔸️Endangering the welfare of a child. He was released after that booking. Murdough, has been described by Sheriff Mark Wood as “well known to law enforcement” A pretrial hearing is set for October 16.
