Be still & know that I am God. God has gifted us all with a conscience to distinguish good from bad, right from wrong. Those who know how to listen & obey this divine inner voice can then change their thoughts, words & actions to align with the virtues that bring us true happiness. Not listening to this voice, on the other hand, brings us discord & confusion. Instead of constantly distracting ourselves & falling further into the abyss, we need to have the courage to honestly consult our conscience, accept the Father’s grace by turning from sinful ways, & let the light of Christ shine through us. Both heaven & hell are mindsets / states of consciousness. As Jesus told us, the Kingdom is found within. Unless one is willing to heal themselves from the inside out, they won’t realize the redeeming power that is within them.
