My top method of proving that an alleged "screenshot" of a tweet is fake was to see if it exceeded 280 characters. This doesn't always work anymore since the character limit was massively increased for paying users. But this other rule of thumb (attached image #2) is still a strong indicator that an alleged "screenshot" from a fake news media agency is most likely fabricated and must verified.
