I hate the cognitive conflict. On the one hand, I staunchly embrace the concept of equal treatment under the law, and, as close as we can come to it, equal opportunity for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. On the other hand, one can only conclude objectively that giving women political power has had a catastrophic effect on our governance, on the family and on our society. That’s the price we’ve paid for giving women the vote.
