Would anyone care to explain why pro gun groups never mention that the October 7th attacks on Israel never would have achieved anything, if Israeli citizens had the right to bear arms? Imagine the 70 odd terrorists attacking the festival, only to be hit with bullets from 1700 military trained Israeli civilians with guns. It seems to me the perfect example of why citizens need to be armed, yet there's dead silence. In Ukraine, the first thing the government did after the Russian attack, is hand out weapons to any civilians who were willing to fight. If the civilians already had those guns from the beginning and in the millions instead of tens of thousands, again, very different situation. If citizens at Tienanmen Square had guns, there would likely no longer even be a CCP. I don't care about what side of each fight someone is on (Israel V Palestine, Russia V Ukraine), what matters to me is that we keep seeing proof that citizens need to be armed and no pro gun groups ever mention it or even seem to notice.
