I like wild creatures and living in the country. I really do! However it was totally unnecessary for a mud dabbler to completely fill the key hole of my zero turn lawn mower up with dirt. I had to delay mowing my swamp to find a tiny wire to unplug the key hole, so the key would fit in and turn. I need nothing to discourage from me from mowing the swampy mess we used to call a yard. I mow the higher areas and the frogs are building ecosystems in the low areas. More rain expected tonight, so it was mow now, or forget about it. I now have tape over the key hole! I wonder if it was the same pesky dirt dauber setting off my greenhouse security camera by climbing on the lens. My kids decided I needed cameras since I am now alone. I have discovered wildlife is having a great time here after dark, and cardinals like to have their picture taken. A raccoon is climbing the front railing, a crane fly enjoys the ring doorbell, and spiders like to drop down and check out their reflections.
