Fries Keyboard Works L.L.C. (@FKW_LLC)

Was washing old towels the other day. One of them ripped apart along the dobby boarder. I was curious how old this towel might be for it to rip like that so easily. I was intrigued to find that this brand, "Royla Velvet" by Fieldcrest, was made in the USA. I looked it up, they started in the 1800's. But ultimately they were sold off in 2003. Target owns the brand name now and of course they aren't made here anymore. Likely, these towels are older than 2003. I would say they may even be older than me. They are probably from the 1980's unless some tag expert can say otherwise. They have always been "junk towels" in the hamper even when I was a kid. So I wondered what towels are still made in the USA. There seem to be only one or two companies that still do, and they are basically white towels geared toward hotels, but you could buy them as individuals too. But they cost more than $100 for like 2 towels. That's crazy! (My Pillow towels are imported, btw!) Sad. What can't we make our own towels? #towels #madeintheusa
