https://finesetinitia.substack.com/p/intro-from-the-southern-agrarians From the “Unabomber” Ted Kaczynski‘s manifesto, first published in 1995: “The technophiles are taking us all on an utterly reckless ride into the unknown. Many people understand something of what technological progress is doing to us yet take a passive attitude toward it because they think it is inevitable. But we (FC) don’t think it is inevitable. We think it can be stopped, and we will give here some indications of how to go about stopping it.” The Godless Kaczynski advocated international revolution to overthrow industrial society, while the Southern Agrarians promoted cultural and spiritual movements within local regions to reject it. The Agrarians’ method has a better chance to succeed in the long run because it is based on family, faith, and identity.
