Please check how the PLA hid SARS-1 cases in military hospitals without case files being opened, and how Dr. Jiang Yanyong, a retired surgeon at Beijing’s 301 military hospital, blew the whistle and got arrested for that. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aW8lQllcI9Cx7B3ejJZ_emr-eNYw2j1-/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1anpQvCia8YV1N6KGJF8TZ8hIZBi_qWTf/view?usp=sharing The WHO issued a travel advisory advising people not to visit HK and Macau on 2 April 2003. The Chinese government riposted with a press conference saying that the WHO travel advisory should be ignored. A few days later the truth came out. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1akwmlF_P2k331bKMB7-qMUbwOABsL0rS/view?usp=sharing Most of the cases (200+ against the official 37 ones) were handled in military hospitals with secret military files. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7108605/ Then the WHO tried hard to visit military hospitals. That visit, when it happened, was just a charade as cases were being hidden, moved, or just driven around in ambulances for the duration of the WHO visit of these hospitals. David Fidler is very good on this: https://archive.md/P7LwY China has learnt the lesson of SARS-1 and would work harder to effectively suppress bad news, and to make sure that the the WHO is kept well at bay before allowing a fully orchestrated visit next time. No more weakness. http://archive.ph/QMcQk If you want to check the possible role of military hospitals during Nov and early Dec 2019, I would recommend poking around the Hospital of Central Military Command, in Wuchang, not far from the Wuhan Uni ABSL-3.
