Segregating Dangerous Apps The majority of our population is too addicted to modern conveniences to give them up. Whether those conveniences are things like dishwashers, toilets, air conditioners, and electric lights or they are "free" and unlimited email, social media, streaming music, and turn-by-turn GPS navigation, almost everyone has limitations on what they're willing to give up in exchange for money or privacy. People who move to GrapheneOS are generally people who place a high value on security and privacy. Unfortunately, many GrapheneOS users give into temptation and sacrifice some of that in order to continue use convenient mobile apps that track them. If you feel that you must use apps that track you and/or use the Google compatibility layer, you should really limit that activity and segregate it in a separate user profile from the one you normally use for everything else. You can access this feature in Settings --> System --> Multiple Users. If you intend to use tons of tracking apps on a regular basis, then this is probably a waste of time, but hopefully you're not doing that if you went through the trouble of making the shift to GrapheneOS.
