I’m not sure the proper question is “Do I have to join a church to be a Christian?” Rather, “What is my attitude toward the local church and what does that say about my commitment to Christ?” It’s more a question of “ought” than “must.” https://founders.org/2016/06/20/must-i-join-a-church-to-be-a-christian/
