We find God by loving God, and greatly desiring to find and obey HIM. We need to love God, we need to love HIM from he deepest depth of our heart. We need to genuinely love God with ALL our heart, ALL our mind, ALL our soul, and ALL our strength. God needs to be our first love (when we make a list of all the things we love, God needs to be first on our list). We need to diligently search for God from the deepest depth of our heart, earnestly seeking God to love, honor, praise, and obey HIM. When we genuinely search for God with ALL our heart, God will come and reveal himself to us. To search for God, pray and prayerfully read through the Bible (maybe a half an hour daily. Start by reading the New Testament about a dozen times; then, start reading the whole Bible repeatedly. We start understanding God and the Bible, a little bit, and a little bit more, as we prayerfully read the Bible over the years). The more time and effort we put into loving, finding and obeying God, reveals how much we love and value God.
