It is because they do not see, and accept, Reality. The war of evil versus good is now taking place in our world, just look around you. Good genuinely loves God and strives to be good, holy, righteous, etc.; while evil hates and fights against God and the Bible. This is how we can discern good from evil. Evil is doing things contrary to God’s will. A good person is very concerned about doing the will of God: someone who strives to find and do God’s will, by prayerfully reading and studying the Bible with a right heart daily. Evil means doing the will of the devil: hating good, hating righteousness; hating Holiness, and hating God loving people. The devil (evil) fights God, doing and promotes whatever is contrary to God. Evil says, “I am going to do whatever I want to do, even if it is contrary to the teachings of the Bible.” Trying to justify sin does NOT make it acceptable; sin separates us from God. Many people act as if they can pretend God, Judgment Day, and the Eternal Lake of Fire, into nonexistence. Surprise! We can do evil without being hurtful to someone, because doing evil means defying God, and we can defy God without being hurtful to someone. Mankind does NOT decide what is good and evil. Prayerfully reading the Bible is where we find out what is good and what is evil; we simply choose to obey or defy God’s instructions. Everyone, whose heart loves God, desires to be holy, good, pure, righteous, and seeks after God; and finds sinning obnoxious. Everyone whose heart loves and desires sin, sees the good, holy, and righteous, as repulsive. What we feel, do, and say, reveals our heart, reveals who we are following, and reveals where we will be living eternally. God will end all evil. We need to be sure we are NOT a part of the evil, so we will not be eternally punished. Remember, if we end up in the eternal lake of fire, it is because we did not repent and give our self totally to Jesus Christ (God), the Bible way. If we really love God, we will spend time prayerfully reading and studying the Bible daily.
