Imaginarium 2027 proudly welcomes two-time Primetime Emmy Award-winning and Grammy nominated screenwriter and playwright Jymn Magon as an Imaginator Guest! Jymn got his start with the newly-formed TV animation department at Walt Disney Productions in 1984, where he functioned as the senior creative manager for nearly a decade. Jymn spent 17 years at Walt Disney Studios, first producing children’s records, then later moving to Disney Television Animation. Jymn created, story edited, and wrote on such shows as Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears, DuckTales, Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck, Goof Troop, Quack Pack and The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. In 1993 he began a freelance career, writing and story editing for numerous studios. His TV and film projects include A Goofy Movie, Make Way for Noddy, Casper: A Spirited Beginning, Casper Meets Wendy, Archie’s Weird Mysteries and All Dogs Go to Heaven: The Series. While working at MGM Animation, he worked as writer on MGM Sing Along Videos, The Secret of NIMH 2: Timmy to the Rescue and Tom Sawyer. After creating and developing several #1 shows for Disney, Jymn moved on to the freelance world where he continues to work for numerous studios in Hollywood and around the world. He also writes for ads, stage, books, and comics. We are honored to have Jymn join us for our 14th year, taking place July 23-25, 2027 in Louisville, Kentucky at the Crowne Plaza!
