Subsequent studies detected mRNA and spike protein in tissue and circulation considerably longer than that in some individuals, and the full picture is still being worked out. The problem isn't that early estimates were revised — that's science. It's that the uncertainty was never conveyed. Once injected, there's no dose adjustment and no way to stop it. A product with no off-ramp warranted more candor about what was unknown, not less.
