Now that Christmas is over, we can finally share photos of some of our Christmas sewing. (The photos came out a little soft but we were in a hurry to gift-wrap it.) We mixed forest green, khaki, and cream denim in with all shades of blue to complement the John Deere-themed quilt backing and used some forest green cotton to extend the backing to the right length as well as for binding the entire throw quilt. It was fun to sew something warm and cozy during winter weather; often our projects are six months or more in advance and we end up doing winter sewing in the hottest part of the summer. #sewing #quilting #handmade
