Several passages of Scripture are read that remind us that giving thanks is everyone's duty. Though America has been wonderfully blessed, Pastor Smith states that "We are doomed as a nation if 'We the people' don't wake up from our spiritual lethargy." The secret to America’s greatness is its spiritual foundation; however, "America’s faith in God and the spiritual principles upon which our government was established has been undermined by politicians, betrayed by the media, and attacked by educators." Tragically, tens of millions of illegal aliens have invaded our land, who oppose the God of the Bible and despise our freedoms. We are grateful to be Americans; however, we are losing our country.
