Pras #Michél participated in one of the US’s great financial scandals, mediated a high-stakes negotiation between global superpowers and was accused of major crimes. Michél lobbied on behalf of IMDB embezzler #JhoLow and the #CCP security police chief #SunLijun in order to get the #DOJ to back away from Low and dislodge @Milesguo from the US. Prosecutors seized $95 million that they alleged originated with Low from Michél’s accounts. Of particular concern to Sun was Guo, a real estate billionaire living on a temporary visa in New York, had enraged the Chinese government by making a series of scandalous claims to the media, purporting to reveal the assets of top Communist Party officials. Michél helped assemble a team of influencers e.g. fundraiser Elliott Broidy, businesswoman Nickie Lum Davis and casino magnate Steve Wynn as well as DOJ staff George Higginbotham to achieve the goals for Low and Sun. Federal prosecutors charged Michél in 2021 with 10 offenses stemming from his dealings with Low, ranging from conspiracy to witness tampering and acting as an unregistered agent of a foreign government.
