#ArtEverywheres #RetroGaming Did you ever have a subscription to Play magazine? It was a monthly publication that ran from November 2001 to January 2010; it covered video games from various consoles as well as PC games, gaming hardware, Japanese animation, DVDs, and other types of entertainment media. Play's main focus was on the technical and artistic aspects of video games. This took the form of in-depth reviews of newly released games, articles spotlighting games currently in development, editorials about changes in the gaming industry as well as interviews with game developers and artists. Text was organized into a clean grid design with both static black text on a white background and white-text on a colored base. The magazine’s most notable feature was its heavy emphasis on concept art and large high definition screenshots. Often posters advertising an upcoming game would be included with the magazine. I have uploaded three of the five posters included in the November issue. Have you played any of these games?
