Isaiah 49: 7 David was despised by Saul's daughter Michal, for dancing and celebrating the return of the Ark (1Chr 15:29). Do we put our trust in rulers who can rise and fall, or in Christ (Ps 20: 7-9). We are the treasured possession of God Almighty (Deut 14:2). Today Christians are low and despised, yet chosen by Christ (1Cor 1:28). Nebuchadnezzar had a dream, which was answered in a dream at night (Dan 2:21). Christ spoke to the disciples, the same as us, we did not choose Him, but He chose us (John 15:16). 7 Thus saith the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the Lord that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.
