Father thought it would be funny to throw rocks at an eagle’s nest in front of his son, until the eagle taught both of them a lesson. A man was arrested after a wildlife camera caught him walking up near an eagle’s nesting area with his young son standing beside him. In the footage, the man can be seen picking up small rocks and tossing them toward the nest, laughing like it was some harmless joke. But the eagle didn’t see it that way. At first, the bird stayed perched above them, watching. Then, seconds later, it dove straight down and struck the man, scratching his face, shoulder, and back as he tried to cover himself and run. His son didn’t wait around. He ran the opposite direction while the eagle chased the man away from the nest. Police later arrested him for disturbing protected wildlife, and one officer reportedly told him the part that hit hardest wasn’t even the eagle attack. It was that his son had watched the whole thing. He tried to teach his son how to be tough by disrespecting nature, and ended up getting humbled by the one father in the forest who was protecting his own family. #wholesome #animals
