This is what I dont get about the Catholic Church. This is what I got out of the article. Beautiful Catholic churches that have gone on for a century have to close because of a priest shortage? Isn't the aim to spread God's word? There is no one in the congregation to read the Bible, to talk about what God means to them? To have the elderly talk about their faith & history? To keep sharing community?
