It is with great sorrow that we report the tragic passing of James "Tony" Moffatt, a distinguished 60-year-old aerospace defense engineer and military veteran, along with his family. Tony was piloting a Mooney M20 single-engine aircraft with his wife, Leasa, and sons, Andrew and William, when the plane crashed in Union County, South Carolina, around 6:30 p.m. on Friday. All four passengers lost their lives in this incident.
