A seaplane with 11 people aboard crashed off the coast of Washington state near Sucia Island around 5:20 p.m. local time, resulting in multiple injuries, including one critical. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and local authorities reported that all passengers, who included 10 customers and one pilot from Kenmore Air, were rescued. The San Juan County Sheriff's Office stated injuries varied from head trauma to broken bones. Four injured passengers were taken to hospitals, while the rest were brought to the Bellingham Coast Guard Station.
