To a large degree, Americans have not been aware of inflation which has been accelerating since say especially the 1990s because of Chinese slave-labor. Long story short, products appeared to have been getting cheaper but that is not really true. It is more an illusion in the mist of inflation. . All the central banks can do is print more and more money, as in the dollar and other centralized I-Owe-You blank-checks. . The good news is people around the world are finding ways to get out of the global monetary PONZI SCHEME which has a root in what happened in 1913 for example among other dates in history as well. The dollar and other fiat paper and digital money is dying. . You have to transfer your dollars into tangible products, gold, cryptocurrencies, land, , etc. The dollar is losing value each second. Any day now, you may wake up with no money in your bank account or the money may not be worth that much as seen in what happened in Venezuela and other countries.
