It was sad finding the baby eagle dead beneath the nest tree. The last time this happened the eagles destroyed their nest and left for a couple years before returning and building their current nest. My hope is that by removing the corpse it will keep them around in the future. As I type this I hear their screeches from the top of the hill and hope to continue hearing them.
