What a mess of a day it was yesterday as the storm hit. The snow started nice and light but got heavier as the day went on. It gave me a chance to get more of the farm prepped for it and the sheep needed their new bale rolled into the pen. I'm really happy to have moved the bales closer to the pen as it makes it far easier to deal with them.
The oil heater managed to keep the greenhouse above freezing with the 19F temps overnight so I have a glimmer of hope it may handle the subzero temps coming. I think my thermo-switch is dead for the heat lamp so I will have to put it on a timer to give the kick of extra heat for later in the week.
3+" of snow overnight and then it spent the last hour raining heavily atop it. Today is wet, sloppy, and really windy.
