The Syriac Orthodox school in Deir ez-Zor was destroyed during ISIS occupation of the city. Today, thanks to the generosity of donors, they are working to re-open its doors and welcome back its students. Rebuilding a school is about much more than reconstructing a building: it is about restoring hope, preserving education, and enabling life to resume in a war-torn Syria 🇸🇾
