It's important to remember where COVID-19 falls in the history of global pandemics. It is a tragedy for the 0.035% of the global population that has passed away, but thankfully, COVID-19 is not nearly as deadly as some previous pandemics. On the other hand, what global governments have done in response to this pandemic is an utter catastrophe. Shutting down businesses, schools, gyms, churches, etc never stopped the spread of the virus. Lockdowns didn't work. And, they were tremendously harmful. Governments and corporations holding basic freedoms hostage in exchange for vaccination passports will be a dystopian nightmare. Can you imagine how much freedom and liberty our runaway government would take away if COVID-19 was one of the top 15 deadliest pandemics in history❓
