Federal Department of Education Hangs Banner of Charlie Kirk Outside Its HQ. Some people are upset about it. The true puzzle is not 'Why is there a Charlie Kirk banner on the federal DoEdu building?'   No, the true puzzle is 'Why is there still a federal DoEdu?'   Oh. Wait. In all fairness, Congress has been a bit preoccupied with dog parades, slow-walking Trump nominees for key admin posts, and feffing the country by not passing the SAVE Act to have time for abolishing the federal DoEdu.   Them fossils must exhausted from all that; probably need a nap.   Nothing to see.
