Pride Month takes place in June, with the festivities kicking off on June 1st. International Children's Day is celebrated in most places (especially in communist and ex communist countries) on June 1st; in the United States it falls on the second Sunday in June. The originator of the Pride Month (now celebrated in most civilized countries) was a teacher who taught children, by the way. Maybe it's just an innocent coincidence though...
