What the Native Americans wanted more than anything from the White Man was Guns, so they could perpetuate the killing at a far greater rate. The White Man played the same game the Indians had been playing with each other for all history, except we did it better and won. And this was only after countless attempts to make peace, establish communities, and trade with them. The White Man learned they cannot be reasoned with, they cannot be civilized, and there was a zero chance of establishing a peaceful and civilized society with them in it. Just a fact.
