Appreciating, what it is, that Jesus The Beloved, actually accomplished, is to first understand our original situation, "in so much, that we despaired,,, even of life!.. But,,, we had,,, the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust, in ourselves, but, in GOD which raiseth the dead!" ~2 Corinthians 1:8b-9 We had, in and of ourselves, no hope! Then Jesus via His Holy Spirit says, "come forth! And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was bound about with a napkin, Jesus saith unto them, loose him, and let him go!" ~John 11:43b-44 Oh, we were animated, going through the motions of something or another, but, dead! "Jesus said unto him (and us), let the dead bury their dead!.. But go thou,,, and preach The Kingdom Of GOD!" (Luke 9:60) When King Jesus calls us to Life it's His Life, Eternal Life! He is now, not only The source of this New Life, but also the reason, to relay His plan of Salvation, and reflecting somewhat of His,,, agape... *more supporting verses in comments
