The Kremlin logic that it can just invade and de-militarize any neighboring state that it views as hostile is foundationally ridiculous. By the same logic, Ukraine has the right to invade and "de-militarize" Russia because it views Russia as a military threat to Ukraine. Doesn't Israel use this line to bomb Gaza all the time? Any country could use this as a pretext to invade anyone they don't like. "Your country is next to mine and has missiles, so I will invade you." Ukraine itself has missiles, it doesn't even need to be in NATO for this dumb logic to be used against it. Biden & NATO rejected Ukraine for membership very recently, saying it could not enter for at least a decade. So what's it all really about? @MartinezPerspective
