[I agree with this.] Will Schryver @imetatronink ⚡️ Here's what I have observed at this point in relation to the Israeli strikes against Iran: - The Israelis launched a lot of missiles -- all from maximum stand-off distance. - Iran put up a LOT of air defense missiles. - There are no firm reports nor video evidence (so far) of big missile strikes on any significant Iranian targets. - The Iranians say they intercepted most of the attacking missiles, but admit some got through. - All the usual purveyors of #EmpirePropaganda are claiming Israel crushed Iranian air defenses and devastated their intended targets. My impression is that, although they probably hit *something* meaningful with this strike, by and large it was a demonstration of just how limited Israeli long-range strike capability really is -- and how formidable Iranian air defenses have become. 12:30 AM · Oct 26, 2024 · 75.7K Views Juche Respecter 41K @JucheRespecter · 4h I said recently that this cold war jet tech was just an insanely inefficient way of conducting deep strike missions, a relic from the pre-miniaturized electronics age. The fact that these jets are only good for launching cruise missiles at standoff ranges is proof enough. Marwan Elnakeeb @marwanelnakeeb · 6h I say it was all for show and to save face. They couldn’t actually use serious rockets or bombs to attack actual strategic positions or else Iran would unleash Armageddon on their ass, so they sent a few jets burnt some fuel, let loose a few missiles to be picked off by air Show more Abolish Israel @Abolish_Israel_ · 6h Iranian surprisingly have a multitier integrated AD system. Starting with 100mm electrooptical robot ack-ack and ending with S400. the 100mm cannon destroyed all the decoy drones and the Bavar took care of the glide bombs. Since Iran didn't take the bait the jets were called off.
